You have been scheduled to perform an Overnight Pulse Oximetry test. This test will measure your oxygen levels during your sleep.
You will need to attach the NightOwl® Sensor to the tip of your index finger. This sensor shines light onto your finger and captures the reflected light from your skin. It connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth®.
Preparing for your test is straight forward and will only take a few minutes of your time. The following steps will guide you through the process.
WHATS NEXT? Your prescriber should receive the report in 2-3 business days after completion of the test.
There is no need to return the sensor to VirtuOx. However, keep the sensor in a safe place as your prescriber may request that you test again in the future. You may use this device for up to 10 nights, as needed.
The NightOwl® Companion app will automatically switch of the sensor in the morning. If you have accidentally switched on the sensor, you can turn it off by pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds until the red light switches off.
